An ‘Amazing’ season coming soon, hints Wendy Osefo

Ever since The Real Housewives of Potomac aired in 2016, it has been loved by women from all walks of life. With season 5 right around the corner, fans are eager to wait for the newest member to show herself. As the show stands, the new character will come in as a triple threat. Dr. Wendy Osefo is the latest member of the cast to join the RHOP.

Dr. Wendy Osefo is a Nigerian-American philanthropist, public affairs academic, political commentator, and a television personality. She is also an assistant professor at Johns Hopkins School of Education. In 2016, she became the first Black woman to earn a Ph.D. in public affairs and community development from Rutgers University, Camden. In 2017, Dr. Wendy Osefo was named one of the 12 Pan African Women to Watch by Face2Face Africa 2017 ‘Outstanding Graduate Award’ from her Alma mater, Johns Hopkins University. She is the first doctor ever to join the Real Housewives in its 14-year long journey.

In an interview, Wendy said she knows that there will be many twists and turns and highs and lows in the show. It will be a fantastic ride! She also mentioned that she hopes to one day meet Beyonce during a future appearance on Watch What Happens Live! With Andy Cohen. She said that if Beyonce were ever to come as a guest with her on the show, she would be dancing. She said she has the ‘Single Ladies’ routine on lock, and she is ready to show it off.

Dr. Wendy has also stated that she wishes that fans enjoy her being on the show. When she was asked how she thought fans would receive her, she said that she hopes the viewers love her as she already loves them. She believed that they would see her go through different iterations of herself and grow this season. She thinks that it will be interesting for the viewers to get an inside look into her life. This would help them see that she too struggles like anyone else.

The latest episodes of The Housewives of Potomac will air from Sundays at 9 P.M. on Bravo.
