With help from his adorable one-year-old toddler, Tiana, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson found that singing his song ‘You’re Welcome’ is the fittest way to wash your hands.
The Rock Shares Pre-Shower Ritual
Tiana “Tia” Johnson commanded her daddy, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, to sing the song at the start of his 2nd Instagram video. In the clip, The Rock, 47, shares his pre-shower ritual with his delightful 1-year-old. Dwayne captioned that before his showers now, “Baby Tia (mama mia)” demands that he sing the rap part of his song “You’re Welcome” from MOANA, while he washes her hands. He realized a few weeks ago that the song’s rap part is the perfect time to get kids to have fun washing their hands. From there, Dwayne Johnson – apparently wearing nothing but a towel around his waist – channels in his character, Maui, from Moana. He then recites the rap breakdown, letting his little baby chime in at the right moments.
The father and daughter even renew the lyrics for the current COVID-19 pandemic crisis. “What can I say except, ‘you’re welcome’ / The coronavirus has got to –” “go!” If cuteness was the remedy for the novel coronavirus, then this video would banish COVID-19 from the northern hemisphere by itself. The Rock wrote at the end of his caption for everyone to stay healthy and stay safe. “And gotta love how at the start of this vid, baby Tia is like, ‘just shut your mouth and sing daddy’” She must have heard that from somebody. Wonder who?
Dwayne Johnson Celebrates His Daughters!
In more joyful times, the Rock celebrated Tiana and her older sisters on International Women’s Day. This happened weeks before the United States was suffering the coronavirus pandemic. “Respect the ground you walk, protect the name you carry and blaze your own @wwenxt @wwe path.” The Rock said this while sharing a picture of him with Simone, 18, his daughter with his former wife Dany Garcia. Simone has followed the family business and started training to be a WWE Superstar. He said to her that he is proud of her. As she goes down the road, he’ll always have her back. To his four year-old-girl, Jasmine, the ‘Moana’ star said, “Blessed, strong and the world will hear from you one day.”
“The world will one day hear from you too, my strong little love. And I can’t promise you I’ll love you for the rest of your life, but you have my word I’ll love and protect you for the rest of mine,” Dwayne Johnson said to Baby Tia.
The Rock married Jasmine’s and Tia’s mother (and his partner of over 11 years) Lauren Hashian, in a clandestine ceremony in August 2019. Hope that they don’t have to celebrate their first wedding anniversary in quarantine!
